International Fashion at Great Rates

NYC, NJ and CT Here We Come!

I am so excited and thrilled about going to New York again!  Last week we took shots of 2 models and had the pleasure of meeting with Turkish Fashion Designer, Nilufer Satorius.  We will be promoting her bags in fashion showroom as we prepare for CT Fashion Week.  We will be uploading images of her items at imanimagazine.com by next week!

We are creating an international fashion designing team including adults and we will also have a Jr. division in which children and teens can engage in sewing clothing.  They have already started making jewelry upon which they can sell in the store.  We are also looking to network with corporate companies to bridge the gap for those interested in purchasing products if they are not in the NY area.  IMANI Magazine Online can be the bridge to their next possible purchase.

As for cosmetics, we have Elf, Sacha and Beautiful Diva Cosmetics.  We can also help promote Mary Kay and Avon.  We are seeking representatives to promote.  We also have great resources on our site such as job banks(see the frontpage) at http://imanimagazine.com

We plan to host make-up seminars.  We are seeking cosmetology students who would like to give tips.

I think of our company as an international company.  It does not matter what nationality or country our clients are from: China, India, Africa, Egypt, Turky, France, Brazil, Canada or the city—New York, New Haven, Orlando, Los Angeles.  We want to work with people who are interested in building their career—whether they are an artist or model.

Waterfalls Photo Shoot Storyline

For Fashion Showroom, Fashion Models, it was our first experience hosting our first photo shoot at a waterfall and it was exciting.  Photographer Keith Haessly came out with his lighting and equipment well suited for the occasion.

FMI Model Brian came prepared and relaxed as we started out prepping him with Sasha Cosmetics makeup, which only took about 5 minutes.  The photographer shot him as he posed against a couple of trees.  Then we went to the river stream and after to an area where there is a cliff.  I slipped on the way trying to follow Brian, the green area against the rocks was a bit slippery.  I wore Venus Williams tennis shoes and was felt secure.

We also took shots in a huge tunnel.  It was a bit eerie but the domed shaped metal wall, which was, spray-painted with different give it an artistic look.  It looked very magazine like and gave the shoot an even more official feeling.  There were so many settings that the photographer came up with I was very impressed.  I am ready to host another shoot as soon as next week. But we will see.  That was fun.

Next time we will hike down to the larger waterfall.  I am not a good nighttime driver and decided to end early.  This is definitely a great opportunity for models and artists, I would suggest teens and adults.  Children can participate, but their parent must be there. I would even suggest other modeling agencies in Connecticut can work with us on this. We came from New Haven and it took about 20 minutes to arrive.  The scenery was sort of Jurassic Parkish and a movie can even be shot in this area.  Pictures from IMANI Publications and Haessly to come!
